I'm going to be moving to New Jersey soon. Not that it really effects much of anything here, just putting it out there. Last day in California is March 8th.

Thanks for the well wishes! My stuff has now been shipped, so now I just have to ship myself and the last few belongings I still have here with me.
The sad part is I just got a new HD cam and won't have much time to do much shooting with it out here in the desert! So many great locations out here. Really would have loved to shoot something with a classic Twilight Zone feel to it.

That does suck. One of the few things this desert is good for is that old Twilight Zone feel.

Definitely good shooting locations out here that's for sure. And then in post production do some color adjusting to black and white or maybe over saturate the colors a little. So many options just with that in post production to create a really interesting feel.
On the bright side, I'm only going to be living about 11 miles outside of Manhattan so I'll be able to do some shooting in New York City. Also, the area is very industrial so there are a lot of places to shoot to take advantage of that. Maybe give it a 1920's gangster feel or even a Blade Runner atmosphere.

Well, my flight is scheduled for Thursday. I'll be breaking down and packing up my computer sometime tomorrow. After that's done, I'll be offline until at least Friday if not longer depending on the available internet connections at my new place.
Once I'm settled in I'll hopefully have some interesting photos to post from the trip. Then I can get back to creating again. It's been a couple of weeks since I've worked on the Star Wars project and I want to get that back on track. I also have a couple of ideas brewing for little projects with the new cam and my new location.

Well I'm back! Trip went rather smoothly and got my computer up and running without much drama thankfully.
Got some video and photos I'll post here from the flight. I must say that I'm always in awe of the beauty that the southwest United States holds.
